OVERVIEW

As part of a 5-member internship team, we were tasked with auditing and reimagining core platform workflows. My specific responsibility was to conduct a heuristic evaluation and usability testing of the report checkout flow to identify usability flaws and validating user behavior through research. The project surfaced key interface issues and offered strategic design interventions to help EagleView deliver a more streamlined, responsive, and user-friendly checkout experience.

Our recommendations projected to deliver:

🕒 30–40% faster checkout

📉 fewer user errors, and

🧭 improved user trust and task success.

PROBLEM

EagleView’s property report checkout flow lacks usability clarity for their users

The checkout experience in EagleView’s legacy interface presents significant usability challenges, particularly for enterprise users managing time-sensitive and data-driven tasks. The absence of clear visual hierarchy, inconsistent terminology, and minimal feedback during interaction leads to confusion, inefficiencies, and potential errors.

Analysts, technicians, and contractors who rely on rapid, accurate access to aerial intelligence, this broken flow disrupts workflows and compromises overall platform trust.
